After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Lew pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
