Boards are made to be trusted, and the Cowboys shredded theirs for Demani Richardson. He came off 72 spots early, and the room will hear about it. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.
That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Cooper Beebe this early at the Round 2 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A reach for Audric Estime in pick No. 87; a little patience would have been rewarded. A need, and now a little less of one.
A real head-scratcher, Braelon Allen in slot 124 is miles ahead of his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Demani Richardson in pick 174 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It adds depth where they could use a little.
