Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs let Jackson fall and pounced. Final grade: B.
You could see the war room lean forward. Khyree Jackson at the 132nd pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Chiefs indulged a want in Jackson while a need in tight end, offensive lineman and other spots stayed open. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
