For all the boxes ticked, the Packers skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The Trotter Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Guyton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
