The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 124 spots for Cameron Ball, and value like that does not grow back.
The Golday pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 23rd overall pick they get a red-zone target to build around. A clean fit for the roster.
They paid sticker price for Malachi Lawrence in slot 54, and that is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
