There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Patriots started one anyway for Nick Nash, 145 picks ahead of schedule.

The Skattebo pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

The Schwesinger pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at wide receiver and tight end. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
