Some picks age like wine; Gino Garcia at the 222nd pick will need to, sitting 59 spots clear of his grade.
That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In the end it comes back to Tetairoa McMillan, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
Pick-by-Pick
A clean, defensible pick in No. 12 with a little surplus value in Tetairoa McMillan. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Colston Loveland at Round 2, Pick 6 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Quinshon Judkins in the 69th overall pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A straight-up fair deal on Donovan Jackson at pick No. 77, value and slot in agreement. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Tez Johnson at pick 105 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Value said wait; Ajani Cornelius in slot 145 says they were not listening. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
