The one they had to fix is still broken. The 49ers left offensive lineman untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.
On value alone, Igbinosun makes the weekend a net positive. The Ben Bredeson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 27 they get a red-zone target to build around, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
The board had Davison Igbinosun higher than pick No. 127, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Harold Perkins Jr.. It fills a real need, too.
A tidy little value on Kaleb Proctor in the Round 4 slot, a step better than break-even. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Louis Moore in the 160th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
