Pick-by-Pick
Olumuyiwa Fashanu slid further than he should have, and No. 24 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No drama and no debate, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. went about where he belonged in the 56th pick. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Audric Estime in the Round 3 slot is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It fills a real need, too.
Fair-plus on Kris Abrams-Draine, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They took Jaylan Ford at par in pick No. 174, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Zion Logue. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
The board had Nathaniel Watson higher than No. 245, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
