New York Giants

The Giants turned the phones into found money: A-.

by isle · 2026 NFL Draft · 12 picks · 2 steals · 1 reaches
Value B
Need B
Trades A+
Future A

The Giants put a flag in the ground for TJ Hall, 41 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. However the rest shakes out, Rolder at that price is a win they earned.

Bottom line, with Jeremiyah Love leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.10 · Pick 10 · Jeremiyah Love · RB · rank 2
Jeremiyah Love slipping to No. 10 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A need, and now a little less of one.
R1.12 · Pick 12 · Sonny Styles · LB · rank 11
In slot 12 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker at fair value.
R2.15 · Pick 47 · Lee Hunter · DT · rank 49
By-the-book stuff, Lee Hunter at the Round 2 slot squarely in line with his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
R3.14 · Pick 78 · Michael Taaffe · S · rank 71
Michael Taaffe at pick No. 78 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the safety. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
R3.32 · Pick 96 · Ja'Kobi Lane · WR · rank 103
They paid sticker price for Ja'Kobi Lane in the 96th pick, and that is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R4.5 · Pick 105 · De'Zhaun Stribling · WR · rank 98
Nothing to complain about; De'Zhaun Stribling went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R5.5 · Pick 145 · Isaiah World · OT · rank 148
No edge and no loss on Isaiah World in the Round 5 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
R6.5 · Pick 186 · DJ Campbell · OG · rank 190
DJ Campbell at pick No. 186 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
R6.7 · Pick 188 · Matt Gulbin · C · rank 186
No drama and no debate, Matt Gulbin went about where he belonged in the 188th overall pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R6.11 · Pick 192 · TJ Hall · CB · rank 233
TJ Hall in slot 192 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The roster fit checks out.
R7.23 · Pick 239 · Kaden Wetjen · WR · rank 234
Good price on Kaden Wetjen in the 239th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
R7.25 · Pick 241 · Jimmy Rolder · LB · rank 231
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jimmy Rolder at No. 241 is the proof. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
