When a board-topper like Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint slides to No. 219, you do not overthink it, and the Packers did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
R1.25

In No. 25 they get a sticky cover corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
R2.9
· Pick 41
· Jackson Powers-Johnson

The board had Jackson Powers-Johnson higher than slot 41, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R2.26

R3.25
· Pick 88

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Brandon Dorlus at the 88th overall pick. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
R3.28

By-the-book stuff, Julian Pearl at the Round 6 slot squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
R6.44
· Pick 219
· Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
· WR
· rank 195
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint in slot 219 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R7.25
· Pick 245
· Edefuan Ulofoshio
· LB
· rank 236
Edefuan Ulofoshio at pick No. 245 is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. It adds depth where they could use a little.
R7.35
· Pick 255
· Trey Taylor
· S
· rank 262
A straight-up fair deal on Trey Taylor at No. 255, value and slot in agreement. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
