B
Green Bay Packers
Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Packers.

2024 NFL Draft
· 13 picks
· 4 steals
· 4 reaches
They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Hayden Hatten, 74 picks early at pick 227. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
Landing Franklin that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 27 they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for T'Vondre Sweat. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A slide stopped in pick No. 57, with T.J. Tampa worth more than the price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
The board had Junior Colson higher than the 88th overall pick, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. A minor itch, scratched.
Zak Zinter at pick 91 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
They took Javon Foster at par in slot 125, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Malik Mustapha in the 133rd pick is fair value, right on his grade. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Jaylen Wright at No. 135 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A wild overpay on Matthew Jones in Round 6, Pick 28, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Taulia Tagovailoa at the 217th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Nice patience on Jase McClellan, who had no business lasting to pick No. 219. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Hayden Hatten in the Round 7 slot, miles early. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A wide receiver of that caliber at pick 246 is the definition of value, full stop. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
