You build a draft on nights like this. Josh Newton had no business being available in pick No. 216, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They will need Hartman to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
