The Packers did not so much draft Justin Rogers as overpay for him, 26 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Mahogany at that price is a win they earned.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
