The Packers did not so much draft Sam Hartman as overpay for him, 40 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Washington value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
