The Packers bet big and early on Hayden Hatten, 53 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Bethune value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
