They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Taulia Tagovailoa, 30 picks early at slot 219. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Jacobs that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
