You could see the war room lean forward. Tre Harris at the 238th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

In Round 1, Pick 4 they get a sticky cover corner. More want than need.
They will replay Wyatt Milum at pick No. 38 for years; that is how good the value is. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.

You do not let a linebacker like Smael Mondon Jr. reach the 217th overall pick and blink. They did not. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Josaiah Stewart at slot 220 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Tre Harris in pick No. 238 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
