The Texans torched the value chart for Phil Jurkovec, taking him 47 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The Texans clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
