Call it larceny. Frank Gore Jr. sat on the board until the 219th overall pick, and the Packers did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
The Lewis reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The Hicks pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, wide receiver and other spots.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 25 they get a lockdown presence outside, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Nothing to complain about; Kamren Kinchens went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
T.J. Tampa in Round 2, Pick 30 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

LaDarius Henderson at the 167th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
The board had Andrew Raym higher than pick No. 203, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. The roster fit checks out.

Aaron Lewis in pick 251 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
