The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Omarion Hampton, the No. 15 name on the board, sitting there at Round 3, Pick 27 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
