The Packers did not so much draft Jordan Hall as overpay for him, 75 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
Pick-by-Pick
Jake Slaughter at the Round 2 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Daylen Everette in No. 84. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Joe Royer at the 120th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
