Call it larceny. Cooper Beebe sat on the board until the 107th pick, and the Giants did not need to be asked twice. No fireworks, but a solid B.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

In the 3rd overall pick they get a difference-maker at receiver at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
The board had Jaden Hicks higher than pick No. 70, and the safety fell to them anyway. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They will replay Cooper Beebe at pick 107 for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
