They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Giants' quarterback, full stop. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Cooper.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a franchise quarterback. A clean fit for the roster.
Xavier Legette in slot 39 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Kalen King at Round 2, Pick 15 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A quiet steal in pick 70: Edgerrin Cooper for less than the market said. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
They took Cooper Beebe at par in the 107th pick, which is nothing to complain about. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They went early on Moose Muhammad III in No. 143, and the value did not follow. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Justin Eboigbe at the 185th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
