Start where it matters. The Giants took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The Odunze pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Williams pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value. A real need, handled.
Steal is underselling it; Rome Odunze at Round 2, Pick 5 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Kingsley Suamataia in slot 54. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

They paid up for James Williams at pick No. 109 when waiting would have done the job. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Donovan Jackson at pick 142 is the proof. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Cam Hart at No. 183 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A need, and now a little less of one.
Jaylan Ford at the 187th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
