Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Matthew Jones at the Round 7 slot is 65 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It bottoms out at a F.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
