Start where it matters. The Giants took J.J. McCarthy to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. The bottom line is a respectable B+.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Adding Dawson Knox by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
