The one they had to fix is still broken. The Giants left interior defensive lineman untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. No fireworks, but a solid B.
That Muhammad pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The cost of the Kelly reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 5th pick they get a long-term starter on the line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Anthony Hill Jr. in pick 37 is fair value, right on his grade. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
They read the board right and Malik Muhammad was the payoff at pick No. 120. The roster fit checks out.
They paid sticker price for Kaytron Allen in the 145th overall pick, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A slide stopped in No. 186, with Cyrus Allen worth more than the price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Anez Cooper at Round 6, Pick 11 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They did well to land Isaiah Nwokobia in slot 239, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A conviction pick on Jack Kelly at the Round 7 slot that the board grades a round light. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
