Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Kamari Lassiter at Round 2, Pick 15 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Jaden Hicks at the 70th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A reasonable price with a little left over, DeWayne Carter in the 108th overall pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A slide stopped in slot 140, with Ben Sinnott worth more than the price. A need, and now a little less of one.
Taking Anthony Gould in pick 185 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
