This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Dae'Quan Wright, the No. 181 name on the board, stolen at the Round 7 slot. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The cost of the Kelly reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The Dolphins indulged a want in Ponds while a need in quarterback and interior defensive lineman stayed open. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
