The real work happened on the phones. The Commanders fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

With quarterback and interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on defensive back is the choice that costs them. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
