Thirty-one other rooms let Kenyon Sadiq slide, and the Colts were the ones holding the card at pick 241. Highway robbery. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.
Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.

David Bailey at Round 1, Pick 28 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

Sonny Styles in pick No. 78 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
You do not let an interior defensive lineman like Kayden McDonald reach No. 113 and blink. They did not. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Spencer Fano at slot 156 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A cornerback of that caliber at the 207th pick is the definition of value, full stop. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Circle this one: Chase Bisontis at pick 208 is a fall that decides a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
The board fumbled Logan Jones all the way to the 214th overall pick, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They will replay Kenyon Sadiq at Round 7, Pick 25 for years; that is how good the value is. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
