Good, not great, for the Packers: B-.

2024 NFL Draft
· 6 picks
· 0 steals
· 2 reaches
The Packers' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it.
The Bishop reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get an island corner. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They went early on Edgerrin Cooper in the 41st pick, and the value did not follow. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Kingsley Suamataia at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Cole Bishop in Round 3, Pick 25 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A clean, defensible pick in pick 91 with a little surplus value in Trey Benson. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A market-rate tight end, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Ben Sinnott. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
