This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Keionte Scott, the No. 60 name on the board, stolen at pick 112. No fireworks, but a solid B.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The Fisher pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
Arvell Reese at the Round 1 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
In No. 20 they get a downhill thumper at linebacker. The biggest hole, addressed.
They will replay Christen Miller at the 92nd overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. A need, and now a little less of one.
Keionte Scott in Round 4, Pick 12 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Good price on Kaytron Allen in the 152nd pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They barely believed it either: Malik Benson still on the board at pick 177. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
The board had Aamil Wagner higher than slot 180, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They jumped the gun on Aiden Fisher, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
