The phones were a trap the Dolphins kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Helm value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.

Nice patience on Malaki Starks, who had no business lasting to Round 2, Pick 1. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
They will replay Jalon Walker at the Round 2 slot for years; that is how good the value is. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Danny Stutsman in pick 99 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A tight end of that caliber at the 121st pick is the definition of value, full stop. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They took Oronde Gadsden II at par in pick No. 134, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
