The tape said wait; the Seahawks did not. Andre Fuller went at the Round 6 slot, a good 56 picks before the board was ready. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
They paid up for Treydan Stukes at the 60th overall pick when waiting would have done the job. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
The board had cheaper options than Keylan Rutledge at the 63rd pick, and it noticed. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Keyron Crawford at pick No. 64 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
No drama and no debate, Jonah Coleman went about where he belonged in slot 95. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Bryce Lance in pick 96 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A real head-scratcher, Andre Fuller in No. 188 is miles ahead of his ranking. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
