The Chargers bet big and early on Michael Barrett, 47 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.

So much rides on J.J. McCarthy that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
