The tape said wait; the Eagles did not. Cole Payton went at the 100th overall pick, a good 98 picks before the board was ready. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. Getting Orange where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
