The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: Denzel Boston, the No. 30 name on the board, sitting there at No. 94 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
