B+
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings let Judkins fall and pounced. Final grade: B+.

2025 NFL Draft
· 5 picks
· 2 steals
· 1 reaches
The trade table was a mismatch, and the Vikings were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
The Judkins steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Isiah Pacheco pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 31 they get a ballhawk on the back end, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Deone Walker at the Round 2 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A need, and now a little less of one.
A running back of that caliber at No. 97 is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
No edge and no loss on Jackson Slater in pick No. 140; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They paid a round early for Dorian Strong in the 161st pick, more than the board wanted. A minor itch, scratched.
