The Commanders spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Wilson. Spending an early pick on linebacker with interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They will need Sanders to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
