This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jonah Coleman, the No. 145 name on the board, stolen at No. 186.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Jones Jr. lower, and that gap is the story.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

In the 16th overall pick they get a plug-and-play piece up front, reach and all. A real need, handled.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jordan Hancock at the 47th pick. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A straight-up fair deal on Luke Kandra at the Round 3 slot, value and slot in agreement. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Tacario Davis at pick No. 114 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Steal is underselling it; Jihaad Campbell at No. 150 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
