Nobody had Roman Hemby this high, and it is not close. The Raiders reached 140 spots to get him at No. 213. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher and offensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
