Some picks age like wine; Braden Fiske at the 228th pick will need to, sitting 49 spots clear of his grade. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Spending an early pick on defensive back with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.
In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 25 they get a matchup problem out wide. A clean fit for the roster.
They bypassed pressing needs at tight end to take Tyler Nubin, a defensive back that was not the priority.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Donovan Edwards in slot 71. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

Nothing to complain about; Storm Duck went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Braden Fiske well ahead of where he belonged. It fills a real need, too.
