You could see the war room lean forward. Myles Harden at pick 221 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Boyd pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a true top target, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Kingsley Suamataia in pick No. 64 is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
