Green Bay Packers

Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Packers.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Packers walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Laumea. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.25 · Pick 25 · Kool-Aid McKinstry · CB · rank 19
In pick 25 they get an island corner at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
R2.9 · Pick 41 · Graham Barton · OT · rank 30
The board had Graham Barton higher than the Round 2 slot, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. The roster fit checks out.
R3.25 · Pick 88 · Mike Sainristil · CB · rank 83
Mike Sainristil in the 88th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
R4.27 · Pick 127 · Malik Washington · WR · rank 117
A quiet steal in No. 127: Malik Washington for less than the market said. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
R4.35 · Pick 135 · Sataoa Laumea · OT · rank 120
Sataoa Laumea slipping to slot 135 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It fills a real need, too.
