The rest of the league will want that one back. Kamari Lassiter tumbling to the Patriots in slot 68 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Patriots paired the rookies with proven help, Jeremy Chinn leading the way.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

In the Round 1 slot they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Troy Fautanu at pick 34 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Steal is underselling it; Kamari Lassiter at the 68th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Joe Milton III at pick No. 203 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the quarterback. A need, and now a little less of one.
