Nice patience on Amarius Mims, who had no business lasting to Round 2, Pick 2. The roster fit checks out.
Cade Stover at pick 68 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They paid sticker price for Cam Hart in the 103rd overall pick, and that is fine. A minor itch, scratched.
Value said wait; Brandon Coleman in No. 137 says they were not listening. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jawhar Jordan well ahead of where he belonged. A need, and now a little less of one.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jalen Coker in the 193rd pick, miles early. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
