When a board-topper like Chau Smith-Wade slides to the 174th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Troy Fautanu and all.
