Call it larceny. Jaylin Simpson sat on the board until the 189th overall pick, and the Chiefs did not need to be asked twice. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Every board in the league had Johnson lower, and that gap is the story.
